Griškabūdis is a Lithuanian place in the district municipality of Šakiai , Suvalkija .

history

In 2011 the place had 857 inhabitants. In 1923 the primary school was founded. In 1947 it became a Progymnasium and in 1948 a Gymnasium .

church

In the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration of Christ, an octagonal wooden building in the classical style from 1792 - 1796, there is the only organ of the East Prussian organ builder George Adam Neppert preserved in its original condition .
