Felipe Almeida Wu (born June 11, 1992 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian marksman .
successes
Felipe Almeida Wu won the silver medal with the air pistol over 10 m at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he took part in the competitions with the air pistol over 10 m and the free pistol over 50 m. With the latter, he finished 39th and thus clearly missed the final. In contrast, he finished the qualification with the air pistol with 580 points in seventh place, which meant his place in the final. In this he was in the top position before the last shot of the competition, but was then overtaken after his own 10.1 by Hoàng Xuân Vinh , who shot a 10.7 and so with 202.5 points ahead of Almeida Wu with 202, 1 points. Almeida Wu won the silver medal behind Hoàng Xuân Vinh and ahead of Pang Wei . The year before he had already secured the gold medal with the air pistol at the Pan American Games in Toronto . He also won gold twice with the air pistol at the South American Games.
