Felipe Benicio de la Paz Arana y Andonaegui (born August 24, 1786 in Buenos Aires , † July 11, 1865 ibid) was an Argentine lawyer and politician .

As a lawyer for the Real Universidad de San Felipe of Santiago de Chile , he took part in the opening of parliament on May 22, 1810. From April 30, 1835 to April 6, 1852 he held the office of Foreign Minister of the previously unconstitutional Confederation of Argentina . With Ange René Armand de Mackau he concluded a trade agreement for the area of ​​the Río de la Plata on October 29, 1840 . After the overthrow of dictator Juan Manuel de Rosas , he was appointed to the State Council by Justo José de Urquiza , the first president of Argentina. He later retired into private life.
