Felix Bockhorni
Felix Bockhorni (also: Felix Pokorny ; * May 20, 1801 in Wolfratshausen ; † July 4, 1878 ibid) was a German landscape painter and draftsman .
Life
Felix Bockhorni enrolled at the age of 15 on October 25, 1816 at the Royal Academy of Art in Munich for the subject of landscape painting. After completing his studies, he worked as a landscape painter at the Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory . As a royal Bavarian court painter , he also took on orders for drawings, watercolors and oil paintings, and occasionally created lithographs based on paintings by other artists.
