Felix Blankets ( February 12, 1864 in Wesel - February 10, 1928 in Stuttgart ) was a German theater actor , opera singer ( tenor ) and theater director .

Life

He began his stage career in Rostock in 1892, came to Elberfeld in 1893, where he stayed until 1896 and then joined the Association of the Stuttgarter Hofbühne, where he made his debut as "Beppo" in Fra Diavolo . He represented the subject of the tenor buffo with great success and both his singing and his effective humor interspersed playing received much recognition. "Gomez" in the night camp , "Georg" in armorer , "David" in the Meistersinger , "Mime" in Rheingold and Siegfried , "Eisenstein" in the bat and Lortzing's Buffo games were extremely pleasant performances.

In 1907 he was appointed royal chamber singer and in 1912 received the gold medal for art and science.

He stayed in Stuttgart until his death, where he was also employed as a game director after the end of the First World War .
