Felix Dothan

Felix Dothan (born September 8, 1924 in Zagreb , † 2005 in Israel ) was an Israeli physicist . Together with Shaul Yatziv , he invented the IDF's Talpiot program .

Dothan in 1924 in Croatia as Felix German born (1968 he changed his name). In 1948 he emigrated to Israel. In 1965 Dothan made his Ph.D. at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem , after which he went to CERN for two years . From 1972 until his retirement in 1992 he was a professor there.

He did research on plasma physics ( discharge , ionization , arcs and electron beams ).
