Richard Anton Felix Marquart (born October 14, 1858 in Leipzig ; † July 19, 1920 there ) was union secretary and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Marquart attended elementary school in Leipzig-Reudnitz, the Nikolai-Gymnasium in Leipzig and the University of Leipzig . After attending the university, he devoted himself to the German private employee movement, especially the German sales assistant movement, and headed the socio-political department of the Association of German sales agents . He was also a member of the lay judge's court, editor of the association papers of the Association of German clerks and the commercial papers (youth newspaper). He published numerous socio-political and economic articles.

From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Sachsen-Weimar 2 ( Eisenach , Dermbach ) and the National Liberal Party .
