Karl Wilhelm Felix Meyer (born February 5, 1847 in Berlin ; † October 3, 1914 in Berlin-Schöneberg ) was a violinist and royal chamber virtuoso .

Meyer, son of the royal Saxon music director Moritz Bernhard Meyer and his wife Ernestine Henriette, née Herrmann, completed his musical training at the Leipzig Conservatory , where he was a student of Ferdinand David's . He later became a violinist first member and a soloist in the orchestra of Benjamin Bilse . In 1878 he was appointed to the royal court orchestra in Berlin. In this context he also took up the position of royal chamber virtuoso.

Meyer was married to Adelheid Auguste Marie Haustein. Meyer died in Berlin in 1914 and was buried in the Friedenau municipal cemetery .

His younger brother Waldemar Meyer (1853-1940) was also a violinist (student of Joseph Joachim ) and from 1873 to 1881 a member of the Kgl. Court chapel.
