Felix Michel
Felix Lutz Michel (born October 4, 1984 in Freital ) is a former German canoe slalom driver . He drove in the men's C2 in the German national team.
From 2004 he was a sports soldier in the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr Sonthofen ; he lived and trained in Augsburg , but drove for the SG unit Spremberg .
In 2006 he was able to achieve the gold medal at the European Championships with the C2 team, which he repeated in 2007. In August 2007 he took part in the pre-Olympic Games and won the bronze medal there in C2. Felix Michel and Sebastian Piersig took sixth place at the 2008 Olympic Games .
Felix Michel rode in the Canadier with Sebastian Piersig from 1997 until the end of his career in 2010. Michel was in front and left paddler, while Piersig was behind and acts as right paddler.
