Felix Robber

Felix Räuber (born June 26, 1984 in Dresden ) is a German singer, songwriter and music producer.

Life

Felix Räuber was born in Dresden , in the GDR in 1984 , and grew up there. At the age of 13 he founded his first band in the basement of his parents' house. The indie pop band " Polarkreis 18 " later developed from the core line-up . The first studio album (2007) took the band, presented by front man and singer Räuber, through Europe with more than 200 concerts. a. also as support for " Smashing Pumpkins ", " Depeche Mode " or " Wir sind Helden ".

In the following year, the second studio album immediately reached the top 20 of the German album charts and achieved gold status through 200,000 sales. The first single "Alone" became one of the most successful German-language songs of all time (platinum status) and became a world hit - the first place in the German single charts was sold more than half a million times.

Then there was a break and a caesura. The third Arctic Circle album could not meet the high expectations. The band decided to take a break. Räuber went to Berlin in 2012 to realign himself as an artist. He worked as an actor and lecturer, built his own studio and produced albums and EPs. In 2014, Räuber started working with Eva Croissant on a new pop project called "Two in Millions", which was released in 2017 by Universal Music .

Inspired by his travels in the Middle East, Räuber worked on his own idea of pop music over the past year. In 2018 he founded his first solo project "Felix Räuber" in Berlin, which he still represents today.
