The rock engravings from Otjitoroa-West ( English Rock Engravings ) are rock carvings on the farm of the same name near Kalkfeld in the Otjozondjupa region in Namibia . They have been a National Monument of Namibia since May 1st, 1967 .
The rock engravings show mainly tracks of Kudus , Oryxen , springbok and zebras . They are 20 to 40 centimeters tall. A rare image of a human face was also found. This engraving was illegally removed and probably smuggled out of the country.
