Feng Zhi

Feng Zhi 冯至 (born September 17, 1905 in Zhuoxian , Hebei Province , † February 22, 1993 in Beijing ) was a Chinese poet, translator and literary scholar.

Career

Feng first studied literature and German at Peking University and between 1930 and 1935 literature and philosophy in Berlin and Heidelberg . In 1935 he received his doctorate on Novalis . After returning to his home country, he taught German at various universities.
