Ferda Akkerman

Ferda Akkerman (born February 26, 1964 in The Hague ) is a Turkish diplomat .

Life

Ferda Akkerman is married and has one child. From December 15, 1987 to May 2, 1988 he was employed in the PERD personnel department. From May 2, 1988 to March 31, 1989, he was employed in the Middle East Africa ORAF department. From April 1, 1989 to December 1, 1989 he was employed by the Turkish armed forces . From December 1, 1989 to October 31, 1990 he was employed in the İstihbarat ve Araştırma İADA research department. From October 31, 1990 to September 30, 1992 he was Vice Consul in Benghazi . From September 30, 1992 to September 1, 1995, he was the third-class delegation secretary at UN headquarters . From September 1, 1995 to August 1, 1997 he was the second, first class legation secretary at the ASGY-I institute. From August 1st, 1997 to October 1st, 1999 he was consul in Berlin. From October 1, 1999 to August 15, 2001 he was the first-class legation secretary in Ljubljana . From August 15, 2001 to September 20, 2002, he headed the DHGY-II department. From September 20, 2002 to October 15, 2003 he was department head in the DPGY-I department. From October 15, 2003 to October 15, 2007 he was Counselor in Helsinki . From October 15, 2007 to December 1, 2009 he headed the PDGY-I department. From December 1, 2009 to March 15, 2011 he was head of the PDGY-I department. From March 15, 2011 to January 31, 2014, he was master of ceremonies in the Foreign Office. He has been ambassador to Lima since February 5, 2014 .
