The Turkish Embassy in Lima was founded by Decree No. 2009/15544 of the Foreign Minister . Before that, the ambassadors in Santiago de Chile were also regularly accredited in Lima. The embassy opened on March 1, 2011. The ambassador is also regularly accredited in La Paz (Bolivia).
