The ambassador heads the embassy in Dushanbe .

history

On January 29, 1992, the government of Turkey and the government in Dushanbe established diplomatic relations. On March 22, 1992, the Turkish embassy was opened in Dushanbe . On November 8, 1994, the embassy office was opened. A trade council has been represented in the diplomatic mission since 2007 and a culture and tourism council since 2008. The Turkish government has been running the Dushanbe Turkish Education Center (TÖMER) since 1996 . In Ankara, development cooperation is maintained in the Dushanbe coordination office of the Turkish Presidium for International Cooperation and Coordination .

He graduated from Galatasaray High School and studied International Relations at Ankara University . In 1985 he joined the foreign service. From 1985 to 1987 he was assigned to the Consular Department. From 1987 to 1988 he was a member of the Turkish armed forces . In 1988 he was third-class diplomatic secretary in the Department of International Organizations. From 1988 to 1990 he was third-class diplomatic secretary in Cairo, and from 1990 to 1993 he was vice-consul in Komotini . From 1993 to 1995 he was second, first class delegation secretary in the Northern Europe Department. From 1995 to 1999 he was first-class delegation secretary in Paris. From 1999 to 2001 he was Consul General in Komotini. From 2001 to 2003 he was head of department at the Institute for Greece. From 2003 to 2005 he was Consul General in Nuremberg. From 2005 to 2007 he was Consul General in Essen. From 2007 to 2008 he managed the archives. From 2008 to 2010 he was Ministerial Director of the Africa Department. Since December 9, 2010 he has been the ambassador in Dushanbe .
