Ferdi Elmas (born February 13, 1985 in Amsterdam , Netherlands ) is a Dutch - Turkish soccer player . Elmas has both Turkish citizenship and Dutch citizenship .

Career

Ferdi Elmas completed his youth career at Ajax Amsterdam . RKC Waalwijk signed him for the youth team and he made his professional debut in 2005. The Turkish first division club Çaykur Rizespor signed Ferdi in the following season. He played for Çaykur Rizespor for two years. His first goal for Rize was made by Elmas against Fenerbahçe Istanbul . In preparation for the 2007/08 season Elmas moved to the capital on loan to Ankaraspor and returned to Çaykur Rizespor in the second half of the season.

At Çaykur Rizespor and Ankaraspor, he plays in midfield. Despite his many missions, he has only completed a few minutes of play, which identifies him as a supplementary player.

For the 2008/09 season Elmas moved to the traditional club Galatasaray Istanbul . At Galatasaray Ferdi did not play a game in the league and therefore his contract was terminated at the end of the season.
