Ferdinand Abbot
Ferdinand Abt (born May 9, 1877 in Idstein ; † August 1, 1962 there ) was a German sculptor .
Abbot trained as a sculptor in Schwanheim . Later his craft took him to Nuremberg , Strasbourg , Graz , Venice and Prague, among others . At the end of the 1920s he worked as a city planner in Frankfurt am Main . After the end of the Second World War he returned to Idstein in 1945 and supported the restoration of numerous historical buildings here.
