Ferdinand Emmerling

Friedrich Martin Ferdinand Emmerling (born December 25, 1831 in Darmstadt , † August 22, 1912 ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

Emmerling was the son of the lawyer and member of the German National Assembly August Emmerling and his wife Christiane Charlotte, née Koch. He studied law in Giessen and Heidelberg and became a member of the Corps Teutonia Giessen (1849) and Rhenania Heidelberg (1851). He was married to Marie, born Rumpel. From 1855 to 1863 he was employed in various farms. In 1867 he became district assessor in Dieburg , in 1876 senior domain councilor at the Oberforst- und Domainendirektion in Darmstadt, 1879 senior finance advisor and lecturer in the Hessian finance ministry, 1888 ministerial advisor in the ministry of the interior and justice, later secret superior finance council, 1895 privy council. Emmerling was a permanent member and chairman of the state insurance office. In 1897 and 1899 he was a member of the sovereign briefing commission of the Second Chamber. In 1902 he retired. In 1904 he acted again temporarily as president of the Hessian administrative court .
