architecture
In the northern urban expansion area, directly in front of the former railway bridge spanning the Hermann Piecq facility , the five-axle three-storey apartment building stands under a gently sloping pitched roof ; rearward with elongated extension. Facade design in a combination of plaster and clinker use ; Ground floor in imitation cuboid bosses, upper floors in clinker cladding. Axially symmetrically structured facade with center-axial access and emphasis; horizontal structure by means of a storey and protruding eaves cornice over a block frieze .
All window openings in the facade are uniformly rectangular in shape, decreasing in height towards the top and framing that changes from floor to floor. The windows on the ground floor are unadorned cut into the wall surface, roofed over with segmental arches and set with keystones . A modified curtain arch frame surrounds the windows on the first floor; the middle is emphasized by a strongly formulated aedicle imitation , which leads to the window above by means of a decorative field. On the second floor, the window openings are adorned with a gable-crowned entablature and the middle is accentuated in a more elaborate manner by means of a columnar position suspected to be round gable. In the wall surface between the two upper floors, there are two decorative wall anchors .
