Ferenc Völgyesi

Ferenc Andras , or Franz Andreas , Völgyesi (* 1895 in Budapest ; † 1967 ) was a Hungarian hypnosis specialist .

Life

Völgyesi discovered his talent as a hypnotist at the age of 17 at Lake Balaton .

During the First World War , due to a lack of anesthesia , he made operations on sick people possible through hypnosis.

He is said to have " tamed wild lions just by eye contact", "tamed crocodiles or bears ... with hypnotic tricks".

In the late 1930s, he toured the United States with his homesick wife .

His works, which were mostly dedicated to the hypnosis of humans and animals, have been translated into various languages. One of his best known works is Hypnosis of Man and Animals from 1966.
