Fergus Murray
Fergus Murray ( Alistair Fergus Murray; born September 11, 1942 in Dundee ) is a former British long-distance runner .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 , he came in 22nd place over 10,000 m .
In 1965 he won bronze over 5000 m at the Universiade , and in 1966 he was starting for Scotland at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston seventh over six miles and finished seventh over three miles in 17th place.
In 1967 he won the Polytechnic Marathon and the Around the Bay Road Race .
In 1970 he finished second in the Kyoto Marathon, third in the Scottish Marathon Championship and seventh in the British Commonwealth Games marathon in Edinburgh .
