Hans-Ulrich Schachtner

Hans-Ulrich Schachtner (* 1944 ) is a German psychologist and author .

Life

After graduating from high school in Passau in 1965, Schachtner began studying psychology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , which he completed in 1971. He was a student of Milton H. Erickson and a co-founder of the Milton Erickson Society. From 1981 he made provocative therapy known in Germany. He derived the provocative communication style ("ProSt") from this and modified it under the term Magical Communication Style ("MagSt"). The aim is to create a win-win situation through benevolent influence .
