Mont-sur-Meurthe is a French commune with 1,114 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Lunéville and the canton of Lunéville-2 (until 2015: canton of Gerbéviller ).

Mont-sur-Meurthe is about five kilometers southwest of Lunéville . Here the river Mortagne flows into the Meurthe . Neighboring municipalities of Mont-sur-Meurthe are Vitrimont in the north, Rehainviller in the northeast, Xermaménil in the east and southeast, Lamath in the south and Blainville-sur-l'Eau in the west.
