Vitrimont is a French commune with 401 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lunéville and the canton of Lunéville-1 (until 2015: canton of Lunéville-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Vitrimontois .

geography

Vitrimont is about 25 kilometers southeast of Nancy . Vitrimont is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Anthelupt in the north and west, Deuxville in the north and northeast, Lunéville in the east, Rehainviller in the southeast, Mont-sur-Meurthe in the south, Blainville-sur-l'Eau in the south and southwest and Damelevières in the southwest.

The national route 333 runs through the municipality .
