Blainville-sur-l'Eau is on the Meurthe River , six kilometers southwest of Lunéville and about 20 kilometers southeast of Nancy . Blainville-sur-l'Eau is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vitrimont in the north, Mont-sur-Meurthe in the east, Lamath in the south, Méhoncourt in the south-west, Charmois in the west and south-west and Damelevières in the west.
