Moyen is a French commune with 550 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Lunéville and the canton of Lunéville-2 (until 2015: canton of Gerbéviller ).

Moyen is about 13 kilometers south-southeast of Lunéville on the Mortagne River . Neighboring municipalities of Moyen are Fraimbois in the north and north-west, Vathiménil in the north and north-east, Flin in the east and north-east, Fontenoy-la-Joûte in the south-east, Domptail and Magnières in the south, Vallois in the south-west and Gerbéviller in the west.
