Glonville lies between Lunéville and Saint-Dié at the foot of the Vosges . The Meurthe limits the community in the northeast. Glonville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Azerailles in the north, Baccarat in the east, Deneuvre in the south and south-east, Bazien in the south, Fontenoy-la-Joûte in the west and south-west and Flin in the north-west.
