Giriviller is located in the hilly landscape between the rivers Moselle and Mortagne , about 22 kilometers south of the town of Lunéville . The Palembœf , a tributary of the Euron, flows through the 7.71 km² municipal area . Giriviller is surrounded by the neighboring communities Seranville in the north-east, Mattexey in the east, Clézentaine and Haillainville in the south, Essey-la-Côte in the south-west, Vennezey in the west and Remenoville in the north-west.
