Chanteheux is a French commune with 2,143 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Lunéville and the canton of Lunéville-2 (until 2015: canton of Lunéville-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Cantenois .
geography
Chanteheux is a banlieue in the east of Lunéville and is located about 27 kilometers east-southeast of Nancy . In the north, the Vezouze delimits the municipality. Chanteheux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Jolivet in the north and north-west, Croismare in the east and north-east and Lunéville in the south and west.
