Fernand Dorais
Fernand Dorais (born March 8, 1928 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu , † January 16, 2003 in Saint-Jérôme , Quebec ) was a Canadian Roman Catholic theologian , Romance scholar and author .
Life
Fernand Dorais studied Roman Catholic theology and Romance studies at the University of Montreal , Columbia University and the Sorbonne . Dorais taught at the Collège Sainte-Marie de Montréal , the Collège Lionel-Groulx and the Laurentian University in Greater Sudbury , where he taught French literature as a university teacher until 1993. Dorais came out as a homosexual man.
