Fernando Cardozo , full name Fernando Daniel Cardozo Brandón , (born April 27, 1979 in Salto ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.69 meter tall offensive player Cardozo was at least in the 1999 Clausura in the squad of the first division club Huracán Buceo at the beginning of his career . In the Clausura 2000 he was then included in the ranks of the Argentine association Chacarita Juniors . The Invierno season 2000 he spent - but without league use - at the Mexican club Cruz Azul . In 2001 he played again for Huracán Buceo, followed by a position at River Plate Montevideo in the Primera División in 2002 . Cardozo was also part of the Uruguayan U-20 selection . He was part of the squad at the U-20 South American Championship in 1999 , when Uruguay finished the tournament as runner-up South American champions.
