Fernando Casas Inglés

Fernando Casas Alemán (born July 8, 1905 in Córdoba (Veracruz) , † October 30, 1968 in Mexico City ) was a governor of the Mexican state of Veracruz and ambassador .

Life

He attended primary school in Córdoba (Veracruz). In Mexico City he attended the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (Mexico) and studied law at the Escuela de Derecho of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México .

In 1935 he was Minister of the Governor of Veracruz Miguel Alemán Valdés . When Alemán resigned from his post as governor to support Manuel Ávila Camacho's presidential campaign, he had elected Fernando Casas Alemán to represent him. Fernando Casas Alemán was the acting governor of Veracruz from April 6, 1939 to November 30, 1940. From 1940 to 1945 he was employed in the government ministry of the governor of Veracruz. In 1945 he moved to Mexico City and coordinated the presidential campaign of Miguel Alemán Valdés . In 1946 he was a Senator for the state of Veracruz in the Senate of the United States of Mexico. From 1946 to 1952 he was mayor of Mexico City .
