Fernando Andrés Cornejo Jiménez (born January 28, 1969 in Rengo , O'Higgins Región , † January 24, 2009 ) was a Chilean football player .
The midfielder was used 36 times for the Chilean national team between 1991 and 2000 , scoring two goals. At the 1998 World Cup in France , he came to three missions.
Cornejo died of stomach cancer four days before his 40th birthday .
