Fernando Lamas
Fernando Lamas (born January 9, 1916 in Buenos Aires , † October 9, 1982 in Los Angeles ; actually Fernando Alvaro Lamas y de Santos ) was an Argentine actor and film producer .
In 1942 he was an established film star in his native Argentina. In 1951 he signed with the film production company Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in order to take over the role of Latin lover in the burgeoning film business .
Lamas was married four times: with Pearl Mux, Lydia Barachi, the actress Arlene Dahl and with the swimmer and actress Esther Williams . The son Lorenzo Lamas , who became known as a serial actor, comes from his marriage to Arlene Dahl .
