Fernando Vega Torres (born July 3, 1984 in Arahal ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

Club career

Vega comes from the successful youth work of FC Sevilla . There he played from 2002 to 2005 for three years in the second team . After a year-long stint at Lorca Deportiva , he finally came to Seville's arch-rival Betis Sevilla in 2006 , where he was regularly used. From 2006 to 2011 he played a total of 115 games for the club and also scored two goals.

In 2012 he moved to Recreativo Huelva in the second Spanish division . He extended his contract for a year in the summer of 2014. He played a total of 77 competitive games for Recreativo and scored four goals. In summer 2015 he switched to CD Lugo for a year . Vega has been without a club since July 2016.

National team

Vega played three games for the Spanish U-20 national team in 2002 and one game for the U-21 national team in 2004 .
