The telecommunications tower Weilerskopf is a type tower of the type "FMT 2" completed in 1969 with a height of 130.7 meters. It is located in the area of ​​an exclave of the municipality of Herxheim am Berg . Today it is only used for mobile communications and directional communications . Radio broadcasts took place from here only in DAB mode . This was the main transmitter for block LB of the Ludwigshafen L-band with an ERP of 1 kW.
