The Ferrer Rocks ( Spanish Bancos Ferrer ) are cliffs off the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are on Gerlache Strait between Useful Island and Ketley Point on Rongé Island .
Participants of the 5th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1950–1951) mapped and named them. It is named after Fernando Ferrer Fougá, hydrographer on board the transport ship Angamos on this research trip . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated this designation into English in 1980.
