Ferusa Jergeschowa ( Kazakh Феруза Ергешова ; born November 17, 1991 in Schymkent , Kazakh SSR , USSR ) is a Kazakh Taekwondoin who is active in the heavyweight division.

Yergeschowa is trained by Baurchan Amankulow. She has been participating in international competitions since 2008. In her first international title fights, the Junior World Championship in Izmir in 2008 , she reached the quarter-finals in the class up to 68 kilograms. In the adult sector, she first took part in the 2009 World Championships in Copenhagen , but dropped out early in the class up to 73 kilograms. In the following year Jergeschowa made the breakthrough in the international top. In the class up to 73 kilograms she was the first Asian champion in Astana , in Guangzhou she won the silver medal after a final defeat against Luo Wei . At the Asian Olympic qualification tournament in 2011 in Bangkok , she reached the final against Nadin Dawani in the heavyweight category over 67 kilograms and secured participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London .
