Fire Brigade Museum Senningen
The Senningen Fire Brigade Museum ( lux . : Pompjéesmusée Senneng ; also: Ale Pompjeesschapp Sennéng ) in the village of Senningen (lux .: Senneng ), municipality of Niederanven (lux .: Nidderaanwen) in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg provides information to the public and provides training (teaching museum). It is the only teaching fire fighting museum in Luxembourg.
The Fire Brigade Museum opened on June 28, 2017 in the building at 38, rue du Château in Senningen. The building was originally a dairy , then the Senningen fire station and finally the shelter of the Neibaach fishing club. It is now the exhibition room of the teaching museum. The building was renovated and made available by the Niederanven municipality .
The exhibits were collected and put together by the two former commanders of the Oberanven fire brigade , Pierre Rach and Gilbert Sauber.
Guided tours are offered in German, Luxembourgish, French and English by appointment.
