Fidelius Henselmann

Fidelius Henselmann , also Fidelis Henselmann (born April 16, 1857 in Laiz , † July 8, 1931 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German painter.

Fidelius Henselmann worked as a church and art painter in Offenburg from around 1880 . At first he worked for the company Simmler & Venator , later he ran his own workshop. At the beginning of the 20th century he painted church furnishings for churches in southern Baden .

His sons Gustav Henselmann (1888–1964), Albert Henselmann (1890–1974) and Willy Henselmann (1896–1973) also worked as painters. His grandson Caspar Henselmann (* 1933) became a sculptor and illustrator.
