Fidencio Casillas

Fidencio Casillas , also known by his nickname Toronjo , is a former Mexican football player at the position of a left outer striker .

career

"Toronjo" Casillas was in the early years of professional football in Mexico from 1943 to 1950 under contract with Atlas Guadalajara . In the 1945/46 season he won both the cup competition and the Supercup with the Rojinegros .

In the seven years Casillas played for Atlas in the Mexican professional league, he scored more than 30 goals. His most successful season in this regard was the 1944/45 season , in which he scored twelve goals.

At the beginning of the 1950s he let his active career end with the CD Zacatepec , for which he was successful a total of eleven times in the seasons 1951/52 and 1952/53 .
