Rodrigo Solano
Rodrigo Solano , also known by the nickname El Oso (dt. The Bear ) or El Osito ( The Bear ), is a former Costa Rican football player in the position of a striker .
career
Solano came to Mexico at the end of 1945 , where he was under contract with Atlas Guadalajara until the end of 1949 , with whom he won the Mexican Cup competition in his first season in 1945/46 . In the cup final, Solano scored the decisive goal for the 5: 4 final against CF Atlante .
In the four years that Solano played for the Rojinegros , he scored a total of 47 goals in the top Mexican division . His most successful game in this regard was the historically high 9-2 victory on October 31, 1946 against today's record champions Club America , to which he contributed four hits. In his personally most successful season 1947/48 he was successful 16 times.
1950 Solano moved to city rivals Club Deportivo Oro , for which he scored a total of five goals in the top division of Mexico.
The seasons 1951/52 and 1952/53 spent Solano at CD Zacatepec , for which he scored a total of six goals in league games.
