history

The church was built in 1507 by the trades Christian Schmid and consecrated in 1508. A restoration was carried out in 1935, as well as inside in 1975 and outside in 1977.

architecture

The old box Großreifling is structurally connected to the church.

A slightly drawn-in choir connects to the two-bay nave as a five-eighth end . The church is vaulted in the nave with two six-part and in the choir with an eight-part looping rib vault without consoles ending in the wall. The ogival, somewhat constricting front arch is profiled with two mutually twisted bars. The tracery windows have two lanes. The west gallery is barrel vaulted. The rectangular west portal is barred. The slender tower from 1722, half placed in the end of the choir, has an onion helmet. A sacristy and an adjoining room have been added to the south.

Furnishing

The late Gothic winged altar, dated Master AA 1518, is in the Landesmuseum Joanneum in Graz.

The neo-Gothic high altar is from 1889. The baroque side altars with cartilage ornaments are dated 1664 and 1665 and show the Holy in the altar leaves. Barbara and Katharina from the end of the 19th century.

The eternal traffic light comes from the 1st third of the 18th century.

The positive organ is dated 1669 and was restored in 1970.
