Sons of Christian love

The Order of Sons of Christian Love ( Filii Caritatis in Latin , Fils de la Charité in French ; Order abbreviation : FC ) is a congregation under papal law of priests and friars in the Roman Catholic Church . It was founded on December 25, 1918 by the French Father Jean-Émile Anizan RSV (1853-1928), who was a member of the Congregation of Fathers and Brothers of Saint Vincent de Paul .

The priests and brothers live together in small communities, they take part in regular everyday life and practice common prayer . The religious order is active on four continents ( Europe , Africa , America and Asia ) and works in 41 institutions with 168 priests and 22 friars. The General House is in Paris , the current Superior General is the Spanish Father Jose Miguel Sopeña .
