Filip Kontak (born March 2, 1990 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian cross-country skier and biathlete .

Filip Kontak from SK Oroslavje lives in Oroslavlje and was initially active as a cross-country skier. In 2005 he competed in his first FIS races as well as races in lower class series such as the Alpine Cup and in junior races . He took part in the European Youth Olympic Festival 2007 in Jaca as well as the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships of the year in Tarvisio , 2008 in Malles and 2009 in Praz de Lys Sommand , both without any notable successes. The highlight in cross-country skiing was participation in the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec , where Kontak competed in the freestyle sprint and was 93rd and missed the finals. In 2010 he switched to biathlon and has rarely competed in cross-country skiing since then.

Kontak made his biathlon debut in 2012 in Ridanna and finished 119th in a sprint. It was not until 2014 that he achieved a double-digit place in the IBU Cup for the first time in Martell as 79th in a sprint . The first international championship was the 2014 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě , where the Croat was 84th in individual and sprint.
