Filipe Correia de Sá

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Filipe Correia de Sá (* 1953 in Balombo ) is an Angolan journalist and writer.

Life

He is a journalist by profession and worked for the Media Nova group in Angola , later as a manager. In this role he also worked in Portugal and Cape Verde . After he headed the company from 2011 to 2013, he has been a member of the supervisory board since 2013.

The longing for Angola during the longer stays abroad was expressed in stories that he often had to tell his daughter. This encouraged him to eventually become a writer himself. In April 2014, his first novel, Tala Mungongo , was published by LeYa- Verlag. He named it after the small community of Tala Mungongo in the province of Malanje , based on a traditional legend that takes place there.

Correi de Sá occasionally appeared as an actor, for example in 1989 in the Portuguese-French-Angolan film O Recado das Ilhas by the Portuguese director Ruy Duarte de Carvalho .
