Balombo is a small town in Angola .

Balombo is the seat of a district of the same name ( Município ) in the province of Benguela . The district covers an area of 2635 km² and has around 30,000 inhabitants (2011 estimate). From now on, the 2014 census will provide reliable population data.
In the north, Balombo is bordered by Cassongue County , in the east by Londuimbali , in the south by Ukuma , Tchinjenje and Ganda counties , and in the west by Bocoio .
There are four municipalities (Comunas) in Balombo County:
- Balombo
- Chindumbo
- Chingongo
- Maka Mombolo
