Filipe Miranda Cunha Pinto (born July 3, 1988 in São Mamede de Infesta ) is a Portuguese rock and pop singer. In 2010 he won the third season of the casting show Ídolos on the television channel SIC .
Career
Pinto studied forestry at the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro . In the castings for the third season of Ídolos , Pinto was selected from over 20,000 applicants for the final phase. After three months in the competition, he qualified for the final, where he prevailed in a live broadcast on February 14, 2010 in the audience vote against his competitor Diana Piedade.
After the final, an album with ten of the finalists was released under the title Ídolos - Os Melhores Momentos . Pinto was then heard with an interpretation of the song Ouvi Dizer by the Ornatos Violeta . From March 13, 2010 he toured Portugal with the other finalists of the show under the title Idolomania .
From September 2010 he studied singing, guitar and piano at the London Music School - the studies were part of the award for his victory at Ídolos - and graduated with honors. On January 9, 2011 he presented the previously unreleased song Crua Carne at a gala broadcast by SIC . In June 2011 he performed with the band in a van that he had put together for him at the Super Bock Super Rock festival and then performed several other street concerts with her in Portuguese cities. In August 2011 he performed on the main stage of the Festival Sudoeste in Zambujeira.
The media department store Fnac recorded his song Escolher Sentença on the compilation Novos Talentos Fnac 2012 . His debut album was released in September 2012 under the title Cerne and entered the Portuguese album charts at number 2.
