Nuno Norte (born January 1, 1978 , Seixal , Setúbal District , Portugal ) is a Portuguese singer. In his home country he became known to a wide audience by winning the first season of the casting show Ídolos , which was broadcast between September 2003 and January 2004 by the television channel SIC .
Two years after winning the competition, he joined the band Filarmónica Gil , which was founded by the composer João Gil , as a singer . In 2008 he started the Teen Spirits project , a group dedicated to the music of the grunge rock band Nirvana .
In February 2009, after the disqualification of Pedro Duvalle, he took part in the Festival da Canção and achieved fourth place with the title Lua sem luar .
