Filiz Akın

Filiz Akın (* 2. January 1943 in Ankara as Suna Akın ) is a Turkish actress .

Life

Akın first studied archeology at the TED Ankara College before winning the 1962 actor competition of the magazine "Filmstar".

She began her acting career in 1962 with Akasyalar Açarken and starred in over 120 films , with colleagues such as Ediz Hun , Kartal Tibet and Tarık Akan . For her role as the German agent Hilda in the film Ankara Ekspresi, based on the novel by Esat Mahmut Karakurt, she received the Golden Orange for best actress.

After therapy in 2004, Filiz Akın defeated nasopharyngeal cancer . She gives seminars on cancer and after her recovery in 2005 she wrote the book Hayata Merhaba (Hello to Life). With this book she wanted u. a. Reach sick people and encourage them. In 2006 she wrote the book Filiz Akın ile Güzellik, Zayıflama ve Genç Kalma Üzerine on healthy living. She is married to Sönmez Köksal and the mother of İlker İnanoğlu . Her son is from Akın's first marriage to the director Türker İnanoğlu. İlker İnanoğlu is also an actor today and was known as Yumurcak as a child star . Mother Filiz Akın and son İlker İnanoğlu stood together in front of the camera in all films in the Yumurcak series as well as in the French crime film Le ricain (The Merciless Executor ) from 1977.
